Gek's Birthday Part 1

Got a dedicated entry on my blog- the birthday characteristic traits, part 1 / part 2 (coming soon) and also Lurrfiiee blog(http://the-lady823.blogspot.com/) about her birthday.

Lucky woman, hope she knows how to 做人 and not come back from HK empty handed. MUHAHAHA.

So this part 1 consisted of the efforts for her present!

Gek, to be honest, is one woman she has EVERYTHING and can jolly well afford those that she don't have.
A part of me will always envy her for that.
But thank god, she isnt spoilt at all and always give thanks to what she has. =D

So I asked her plainly;

I guess when you pretty much have everything, you don't need anything fanciful nor anything elaborate, good food with good friends is good enough. Should there be pressie, it should be something thoughtful.

Well, the majesty has opened her mouth so of course we will get down to doing it for her!

Thank god for Sher and Glenn for being so accomodating to each other's timing despite needing to be at home!

Sher- gotta be home for lunch and dinner yet in the end, forgo lunch just to do this for her. And also assisting YH to get his love letter printed out then finally pass to Gek her pressie.
Glenn- Daddy's dearest birthday yet he woke up early to meet me in Ikea and then ensuring I won't be alone while waiting for Sher, he had to cab back after that.
Me- wah too many efforts to be name. WAHAHAHA

So instead of doing a handmade card, each of us wrote love letter in the black paper and tie up with red ribbon (her 2 favourite colours) and put it in the love jug.
Glenn suggested throwing in chocolates otherwise it would be oh so plain.

Very satisfied with the outcome.

Then Gek went over to Sher's place on monday (her actual birthday). She kinda expected a pressie but didn't expect a love jug!

Heeeheee.

I hope you like it! It actually quite expensive coz of the chocolates but we had so much fun preparing for you. =D
